Leccinum aurantiacum is an orange bolete. This single recreation is beautifully presented in a perspex display case. The detail of this embroidered specimen is as much in the stipe as the cap, with small mycelial roots just showing amongst the dirt and leaf mulch, which are all intricately sewn threads. with all colours and textures faithfully represented.
