Leccinum verispelle-Orange birch bolete
Always a joy to find. If there is one piece in the collection that I could keep it might be his one! The detail of this embroidered specimen is as much in the stipe as the cap, with small mycelial roots just showing amongst the dirt and leaf mulch, which are all intricately sewn threads. with all colours and textures faithfully represented.
