North Devon Trio
Collected during the summer on a walk through the beautiful North Devon countryside, from Hillsford Bridge to Rockford. The deep wooded valley path follows Hoar Oak Water to Watersmeet and then right towards Rockford and the East Lyn River. This was a perfect place to find these gems, it was as if they knew I was going to be there!  Several layers of embroidery make up these pieces and over 500,000 stitches. Lichens include Parmellina pastillifera and Feather mosses. The detail in each embroidery is almost scientific with all colours and textures faithfully represented.
