A Year in Summary

As I walked on, I began to think about how hard it would be to spend every day in survival mode

bees will stumble drunkenly against me as they attempt lift-off, hindlegs heavy with pollen and hoverflies investigate me,

now that the forest branches are bare of leaves they have revealed blooms of lichen and moss clinging on persistently

There is a pyrotechnic vibrancy at this time of year that I love.....
